CGS Charity Sales Bazaar – Students’ Dedication to WWF’s Tiger And Forest Conservation

45 students who were currently undertaking the Team Building Module at the Centre for General Studies (CGS) spent their Sunday by putting up a Charity Sales Bazaar at Centrepoint Bandar Utama. The bazaar, held on 22 October 2023, was in conjunction with the Centrepoint 8km Neighbourhood Fun Run event.

The enthusiastic students, led by their lecturer Ahmad Faris Naqiyuddin bin Mohd Ghazi, took part in selling food and merchandise to fundraise for the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) conservation efforts in preserving tigers and forests in Malaysia.

Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy a delectable array of food and purchase merchandise, with all proceeds directly supporting WWF’s initiatives. This unique approach to fundraising created an engaging environment for the community, fostering discussions and increasing awareness about the critical importance of tiger and forest conservation in Malaysia.

In addition to the commendable fundraising efforts mentioned above, it is crucial to appreciate the dedication and passion exhibited by the 45 students whose initiatives and efforts truly exemplified the spirit of community engagement and environmental responsibility.
