The External Examiner Meeting for the Bachelor of Electronic Engineering with Honours Programme that was held on 22 January 2024 at the Faculty of Engineering & Computing, showcased a commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. The event, led by the Programme Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Ir. Dr. Tay Ching En Marcus, featured a comprehensive agenda.<\/p>\n

The meeting began with a detailed presentation on the Bachelor of Electronic Engineering program, covering various aspects such as the university’s background, faculty expertise, program structure, and continuous quality improvement efforts. As part of the agenda, an insightful follow-up discussion addressed feedback from the external examiner’s previous visit, emphasizing the commitment to ongoing enhancement.<\/p>\n

The external examiner, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, engaged in private sessions with academic staff members, inspecting student coursework and final examination scripts. A pivotal component of the visit was the exclusive meeting with students, ensuring a holistic understanding of their academic experiences.<\/p>\n

The tour of Electronic Engineering Laboratories, Library, and Student Services Department underscored the commitment to providing top-notch facilities and services. Interviews with key personnel, including the Chief Librarian and Head of Student Services Department, further demonstrated a dedication to student support and resource accessibility.<\/p>\n
