The See Hoy Chan Holdings Group Chinese New Year Luncheon held at the Avante Hotel on 13 February 2024 was a vibrant celebration filled with joy and camaraderie. Staff members and invited students of First City University College gathered to usher in the Lunar New Year with warmth and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was electric as guests mingled, exchanging festive greetings and well-wishes. Laughter and chatter filled the air, creating an ambiance of festivity and togetherness.<\/p>\n

One of the thrilling moments of the event unfolded when the esteemed Director of First City University College, Tan Sri Dato\u2019 (Dr) Teo Chiang Liang, and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Saw Sor Heoh, gracefully made their rounds from table to table. As they went, excitement rippled through the ballroom, as each staff member eagerly seized the opportunity to raise their glass in toast alongside their esteemed leaders. This gesture not only elevated the atmosphere but also fostered a profound sense of connection and camaraderie among the attendees. With each clink of glasses and heartfelt expression of well-wishes, the bonds between colleagues and management were strengthened, infusing the celebration with an unparalleled spirit of unity and joy.<\/p>\n

For many international students in attendance, this was their first experience of Chinese New Year celebrations, and they found themselves immersed in the excitement and cultural richness of the event. The tossing of \u201cyee sang\u201d elicited gasps of awe and delight, providing a glimpse into the vibrant tapestry of Malaysian culture.<\/p>\n
