Four students; Phoebe Yeo, Oon Annie, Ashley Khaw, and Wang Xuan Ni – from Beachsaviours’ Team Building Module took part in a beach cleaning movement at Pantai Redang, Sekinchan on 9 April 2024. This initiative closely aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water.<\/p>\n

With a deep concern for the environment, the students effectively combatted marine pollution, gathering approximately 20 bags of trash, including plastic bottles and bags, from the shoreline.<\/p>\n

Their active engagement emphasizes the significant impact of youth-led efforts in preserving marine ecosystems and promoting sustainability. By leaving the shoreline cleaner and spreading a crucial message of environmental care, their action inspires others to participate in creating a more sustainable future for marine life.<\/p>\n

Oon Annie remarked that participating in the beach cleanup was a novel experience, as they encountered various types of waste tarnishing the beach’s once unspoiled beauty.<\/p>\n
