On 3 April 2024, students from the BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance programme attended a briefing session on the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Accelerate programme.<\/p>\n

Ryan Ng Zhen Dung, Business Relationship Manager of ACCA, explained that the programme offers the students with a direct pathway to earning their ACCA qualifications at a discounted cost. Year 3 students who are nearing completion of their studies will receive a reduced registration fee of \u00a389, while students in earlier years were also eligible for significant financial benefits.<\/p>\n

Students will benefit from discounted prices on exempted modules, paying just \u00a325 per module instead of the usual \u00a386 or \u00a3114, depending on the module level. Additionally, they will receive a subscription fee waiver of \u00a3134 until they completed their studies. Exemption fees will also be delayed for one year after students finished their studies, helping them manage their financial commitments more effectively.<\/p>\n

By attending a briefing session on the ACCA Accelerate programme, these students took a proactive step toward advancing their accounting and finance careers.
