The session which was facilitated by Teh Chia Li, a registered and licensed student counsellor, welcomed 15 students from various faculties.<\/p><p>The session was divided into five sections, each covering a different aspect of counselling ethics. In the first section, Ms. Chia Li introduced the Code of Ethics of Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM), explaining its purpose in guiding counsellors to perform their duties professionally. The second section involved group activities, where participants discuss assigned topics related to LKM\u2019s ethical codes, followed by presentations.<\/p><p>In the third section, Ms. Chia Li educated participants about common ethical dilemmas, such as cases involving suicide, drug addiction, and domestic abuse. She shared practical advice on handling these situations and emphasized the importance of respecting clients&#8217; dignity and promoting their welfare.
