On 6 August 2024, the IAD Club hosted the \u201cID Mentorship Talk\u201d featuring guest speaker Mr. Ed Mun.<\/p>
Mr. Ed Mun delivered an insightful talk on ID mentorship and the \u201cNo Free Design Movement,\u201d explaining the importance of valuing design work and maintaining a strong professional stance in the industry. The session included a Q&A segment, allowing attendees to engage directly with Mr. Mun and explore the topics in greater depth.<\/p>
Lim Xin Ci expressed appreciation, saying, \u201cThrough this lecture, I learned that we must have a strong attitude as a designer in the design industry and say no to free designs.\u201d Kuan Ern Qi added, \u201cThrough this lecture, I think that we must have more confidence in ourselves and say no to free designs.\u201d<\/p>
