The students showcased their innovative projects to a panel of distinguished external assessors, providing invaluable industry feedback.<\/p><p>The projects addressed pressing societal and environmental challenges, such as sustainable aquaculture for food security, clothing banks for disaster relief, waste minimisation in the bakery industry, and the role of interior designers in reducing microplastic pollution. One student, Yap Xin Yi, expressed, \u201cThe external examiners recognised and gave positive feedback on our research topics, which gives me more confidence to proceed with my work. It opens up new possibilities and directions for my project.\u201d<\/p><p>Students received detailed feedback from the assessors, who evaluated their ability to align with both academic and industry standards. The session broadened their perspectives and revealed new opportunities. Another student, Leong Wei Theng noted, \u201cPresenting to external examiners broadened my perspective.
