Organised as part of the May\u2013September 2025 semester, the excursion aimed to enhance students\u2019 understanding of site analysis, historical preservation, and spatial design through hands-on learning experiences.<\/p><p>Students participated in various academic activities such as sketching exercises, site measurements, and a batik workshop, while also receiving direct feedback from site owners and design professionals. A morning briefing by Programme Coordinator IDr Fakhul Zaman provided additional context for the trip\u2019s learning objectives.<\/p><p>Reflecting on the experience, Jianne Elektra Cabales shared, \u201cIt was a well-arranged trip. The locals and building owners were resourceful and made site analysis work highly effective.\u201d Xiao Wei noted, \u201cThe trip was informative and engaging.
