First City University College celebrated the achievements of its 2025 graduating cohort at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama. A total of 214 students successfully completed their studies marking the beginning of their next chapter.<\/p>
In her opening address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh said, \u201cWe are truly proud of your success and the journey you undertook to reach this significant milestone. As you embark on the next chapter of your lives, remember the spirit of First City University College will always be with you. Lead with passion in all you pursue, act with integrity in every decision you make, and uphold professionalism as you grow in your careers and contributions.\u201d<\/p>
The ceremony also recognised four outstanding graduates with Industry Excellence Awards, presented in collaboration with industry partners. Lee Zhi Guan, who completed the Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) in Business Management, received his award from Mr. Lawrence Law of Zchwantech Sdn. Bhd. Man Yuet Thung, a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design, was honoured by Ms. Debbie Leow of MyKey Global. Tong Kar Chun, who earned the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting and Finance, received his award from Prof. Dato Dr. Chan Khin Thiam of eSecretary.my. Meanwhile, Cornileus Jasper Patrick, a graduate of the Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours), was recognised by Ms. Kogila A\/P Kamalanathan of Kollect Systems Sdn. Bhd.<\/p>
Lee Zhi Guan shared, \u201cAs we take our next steps\u2014whether into jobs, new cities, further studies, or just into the unknown\u2014I hope we carry that question with us\u2014not as pressure, but as permission. Permission to try. To explore. To dream big, and to risk failing, because maybe that\u2019s how we find our real limits or realise there aren\u2019t any.\u201d Cornileus Jasper Patrick added, \u201cGraduation marks not just the end of our studies, but the beginning of new opportunities.\u201d<\/p>
The ceremony reaffirmed First City University College\u2019s commitment to nurturing graduates ready to contribute meaningfully.<\/p>
