Diploma in Mechatronics is an introductory engineering programme that prepares students for real life working environment or Bachelor degree programme. Students will be exposed to mechanical and electronic technical subjects such as thermofluid dynamics, hydraulics and pneumatics, applied mechanics, and microcontroller principles.
Practical laboratory sessions are carried out under the supervision of experience teaching staff. Industry relevant software tools and hardware are used such as Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD and CNC (Computer Numeric Control) cutting machines.
The industrial training placement prepares students for real world challenges. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to further study or work in the industry as technician.
