FIELD TRIP FOR STUDENTS OF GRAPHIC DESIGN AND FASHION MARKETING

A field trip is essential in students’ learning as that would bring them real-world experiences besides what they learn within the four walls of their on-campus facilities.

With that in mind, the Faculty of Design & Built Environment organised a field trip to Vivar Printing in Rawang, Selangor for students from two of its programmes viz. BA (Hons) Graphic Design and BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing.

Vivar Printing, with a total production floor size of 17,200 square metres, is reputed to be one of the largest privately-owned printing plants in the country. Students have benefited greatly from the trip as they were privileged to be given full exposure in the sophistication of today’s commercial printing processes and needs while touring the various facilities at the plant.
