Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2021 continues the theme “Thread of Heritage” that aims to link our past history and culture of a nation to the future generation.
UNLIMITED is a conceptual collection created by the BA (Hons) in Fashion Marketing and Foundation in Art & Design students and lecturers from First City University College’s Faculty of Design & Built Environment, in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2021 which incorporates the personal and exclusive batik collection by Her Royal Highness Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tuanku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar.
First City University College exhibited a total of 8 artworks in KLFW 2021, with 5 garments created by students and 3 garments created by lecturers. Some of our students are currently volunteering in Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2021 (KLFW) at Pavillion to gain industry experience.
With over 30 years of experience, First City University College’s Faculty of Design & Built Environment (FDBE) has transformed many students into employable designers. This is thanks to its industry-relevant curriculum and academic staff with a wealth of industry experience.
