Students Showcase Their Culinary Skills

On 14 March 2023, members of the Hospitality & Tourism Club (HOT Club) were busy preparing and serving lunch at Café De One for the panel members of Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia. The panel was at the Faculty of Design and Built Environment (FDBE) for an accreditation visit.

The students, with guidance from Chef Ahmad Ziadi Ahmad Fadli, enthusiastically put in their best effort to impress their guests, who also included the senior management and faculty members of FDBE.

The menu consisted of Chicken in Sweet Soy Sauce, Chickens in Bird’s Eye Chilli Coconut Gravy, Fried Omelette, Steam White Rice, and Stir-fried Turmeric Cabbage.

The programme coordinators of the Hospitality & Tourism Management programmes, Teh Wee Leon and Asst Prof Nur Khairunnisa Murnisham, assisted the students by monitoring the lunch service operations.

The students have done a fantastic job indeed in putting together a great meal for their guests.
