Diploma in Business Information Systems (BIS) bridges the gap between business and Information Technology. BIS relates to the processes and data used by employees in various technologies to facilitate better business decision-making. Today, BIS pervades almost all aspects of doing business, including applying IT techniques, technologies and intelligence to enhance business operations.


The programme equips students in understanding how businesses work, and how to solve business problems creatively and effectively.


The programme integrates skills development in the curriculum relevant to the business and IT industry. Students will develop both practical technical skills and transferable skills for general graduate employment in the ever-changing job market. Upon completion of the diploma, this programme provides a definite pathway for students to complete a degree. The degree programmes include Business Information Systems, Software Engineering and Information Technology.
