
FOUNDATION IN ART & DESIGN OVERVIEW
The Foundation in Art & Design is a one-year programme that provides a general art & design education which enables students to gain experience in practical studio work as well as 2D and 3D design and research.
Furthermore, the programme develops a student’s skills in visual analysis, fundamental drawing, color studies, and critical writing skills. These skills will be crucial for their future Bachelor Degree programme.
- Students will become artists in the classical sense of the profession, and at the same time experimenters
- Students will be knowledgable in the theory and practice of contemporary art & design,
- Students will develop their creative potential and critical thinking as young artists.

This programme prepares students for undergraduate degree studies in Design & Built Environment.
