FIRST CITY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HONOURS WINNERS OF LIBRARY INTERIOR DESIGN COMPETITION


The Award Ceremony for the Library Interior Design Competition 2025 took place on 5th March, recognising outstanding creativity and innovation among students. The event, attended by BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design and Diploma in Interior Design students showcased impressive designs that reimagined the library as a dynamic and engaging space for learning.
The competition provided a platform for students to display their vision for modern interior spaces. Alice Lee Kim Lan won the Gold Award, followed by Wong Yit Jin with Silver, and Staneley Eng Ceng Yee earning Bronze. Desmond Saw Wei Zheng and Gan Wei Xuan received Honourable Mentions.
Alice Lee Kim Lan from Diploma in Interior Design expressed, “Winning was an incredibly fulfilling experience. It strengthened my confidence and reinforced the value of collaboration in design.” Wong Yit Jin from the same programme added, “This competition taught me how to incorporate feedback into my work, helping me refine my design approach.”
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates and prizes, marking a successful showcase of talent and dedication in the field of interior design.
