AWS Malaysia Visit Introduces Students to AI and Digital Credentials

On 25 June 2026, students and lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology visited AWS Malaysia to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming higher education and the future of work. The session introduced participants to AI-powered learning tools, digital course development, and AWS Digital Credentials, providing valuable insights into emerging technologies and industry practices.

Through live demonstrations and discussions with AWS professionals, students discovered how AI can personalise learning, enhance productivity, and support digital innovation. They also gained a better understanding of AWS certification pathways and the importance of developing industry-recognised skills for future careers.

The visit strengthened students’ awareness of AI applications and inspired them to pursue continuous learning and professional certifications, reflecting First City University College’s commitment to preparing graduates for an increasingly digital and AI-driven world.
