Bytes Buzz Live Episode 5: Mastering Effective Questionnaires

On 11 March 2026, the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology at First City University College hosted Bytes Buzz Live Episode 5, a Facebook Live talk titled “Mastering Effective Questionnaires: From Design to Data Visualization.”

The session featured Asst. Prof. Ir. Dr. Tay Ching En Marcus and Mohd Sukry Bin Mohd Taib, together with final-year Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (Hons) students Venice Tam Yu Han and Chin Zhi Kuang. The speakers shared practical techniques for designing effective questionnaires and analysing data using visual tools such as Power BI.

Students also highlighted how questionnaires were used in their Integrated Design Project to develop a Wearable Fall Detection and Alert System for senior citizens.

Adzreza Syahmie Bin ‘Adzzham Syahzany shared that the session helped him understand how to design a proper questionnaire using qualitative and quantitative data, while Loke Qin Hui said she learnt more about survey design and Power BI visualisation.
