CELEBRATING STUDENT LEADERSHIP AT THE CLUBS AND SOCIETIES INSTALLATION CEREMONY

The spirit of student initiative and leadership took centre stage on 18 June 2025 during the official Installation Ceremony of Clubs and Societies at First City University College. Held at First City Hall, the event marked the formal appointment of committee members representing both academic-based and non-academic-based clubs and societies.

Organised by the Student Council, the event highlighted the active involvement of various clubs and societies, including Buzz Club, First To Lead Club, The Design Club, Interior Architecture Design Club, Technology Club, Engineering Club, Youth Club, Performing Art Club, Sport Regiment, Chinese Cultural Society, Lion Dance Club, International Student Club, and Rotaract Club.

Madeline Lee Ke Qi from the Diploma in Graphic Design programme shared her enthusiasm: “Love the emcee’s stage presence. They were so generous with the refreshments for this installation day. Shout out to First City University College for this wonderful activity.”

Meanwhile, Fow Seng Joe, President of the Rotaract Club, reflected on his club’s commitment to service: “As President of the Rotaract Club, I ensure that we continue to help people, especially at orphanages. Not only do we help, we also organise celebrations.”

The event celebrated student leadership and reinforced the university’s mission to support holistic growth and active campus engagement.
