Colour Hunt Photography Trip Enhances Students’ Visual Storytelling Skill

A Colour Hunt Photography class trip was conducted on 27 March 2026 at Sunway Subang, organised by Navin Kumar A/L Vasan, providing students with an experiential approach to photography and visual storytelling.
Through a themed “colour hunt” activity, students explored their surroundings to capture images based on colour, composition, and mood, while applying techniques in framing, lighting, and perspective. The session encouraged creativity, observation, and artistic expression in a real-world setting.
Students found the experience insightful, noting that the activity helped them notice details and colours they would usually overlook, while learning how to use colour more effectively to enhance their photographs.
The activity strengthened students’ visual awareness and creative thinking, supporting their development in photography and storytelling.
