Daikin Showroom Visit Brings HVAC Learning to Life

On 1 July 2026, Year 2 students from the Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Design programme visited the Daikin Solution Plaza to gain first-hand exposure to modern heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The industry visit complemented their Building Technology and Services module by connecting classroom learning with real-world building solutions.

Students explored innovative air conditioning technologies, interactive product displays, and residential applications while learning about system design, functionality, and industry practices. A hands-on workshop further enhanced their understanding of HVAC specifications and practical considerations in residential and commercial environments.

The visit strengthened students’ technical knowledge and inspired them to incorporate sustainable and innovative building solutions into their future interior design projects, reflecting First City University College’s commitment to experiential and industry-relevant learning.
