First City UC organized a field trip yesterday involving twenty-five Degree and Diploma computing students and two lecturers to IBM Head Office at Plaza IBM, First Avenue. The three-hour trip was aimed to expose First City UC students to experience the real working environment in the ground of Information Technology and provide a hands-on participation among the students. The field trip covered the history of IBM, introduction of Watson IBM supercomputer, IBM mainframes and different types of cloud storage.

The presentation led to some quiz and gifts were given to the students who answered correctly. At whole, our students thoroughly enjoyed this field trip and the sharing sessions with IBM staff took their perception on Information Technology to another height
