Eid al-Fitr Around the World: A Celebration of Culture, Community and Flavours

First City University College hosted Eid al-Fitr Around the World, a vibrant cultural session organised by the International Student Club and Student Council, held at the Red Canvas on 8 April 2026. The event brought together students and staff for an engaging afternoon celebrating the significance of Eid al-Fitr across diverse cultures.

The session featured insightful sharing on how Eid is celebrated in different parts of the world, alongside interactive activities that encouraged participation and cultural exchange. A key highlight of the event was the wide variety of savoury and sweet delights, representing traditions from India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, the Maldives, and Malaysia, offering attendees a taste of global festive flavours.

Through this initiative, the event successfully fostered cultural appreciation, inclusivity, and meaningful connections among students and staff, reflecting the richness and diversity of the First City University College community.
