Festival Showcase Kebaya Selangor dan Kelingkan Celebrates Fashion Heritage

On 29 June 2026, students from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Marketing attended the Festival Showcase Kebaya Selangor dan Kelingkan at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex, gaining valuable insights into Malaysia’s rich fashion heritage and contemporary design innovation.

Students explored traditional Kelingkan embroidery techniques, viewed fashion showcases, and discovered how digital technologies and AI are supporting the future of fashion design. The experience highlighted the importance of preserving cultural heritage while embracing creativity and innovation.
