George Town Festival 2026 Inspires Creativity Beyond the Classroom

From 7 to 9 August 2026, Design Club students and lecturers explored George Town Festival 2026, gaining valuable exposure to art, design, culture, and creative industry practices. Highlights included the Terang 2026 Projection Mapping Competition and ALIGHT Talks, where students experienced large-scale visual storytelling and gained insights from creative industry professionals.

The educational trip connected classroom learning with real-world creative experiences while inspiring new ideas, strengthening connections, and broadening students’ perspectives on contemporary design.
