Interior Design Students Celebrate Success at REKA Design Week 2026

Five Diploma in Interior Design students from First City University College celebrated their achievement at the MIID REKA Design Week 2026 Student Video Competition on 19 September 2026, where they received Consolation Prizes. Khoo Jin Er, Ng Wei Cheng, Darrel Yap Chow Sheng, Chong Wei Xi and Chriztabelle Chong Shi Yi represented the University College in the competition.

Based on the theme “Dignity in Design”, the competition challenged students to explore cultural heritage and local identity through interior architecture and creative video storytelling. Their success reflects their creativity and ability to communicate meaningful design ideas while deepening their appreciation of design’s role in preserving cultural identity.
