Interior Design Students Explore Materials and Modern Carpentry at Dohson

On 6 October 2026, Diploma in Interior Design students visited the Dohson Showroom in Bandar Puteri Puchong as part of their Building Material Studies module. The field trip gave students first-hand exposure to wood-based materials and finishes used in interior construction and furniture manufacturing, including plywood, engineered boards and laminated boards.

Students also explored carpentry detailing, joinery and fabrication methods through built-in fixtures and custom furniture systems, including the use of CNC routing technology. The experience strengthened their understanding of material selection and practical applications, complementing what they learn in the classroom.
