Learning Persuasion Through Creativity and Playful Storytelling

On 14 May 2026, the Centre for Language and Extension Service conducted a mini workshop titled Create a Convincing Lie for students from the Interior Architecture and Design, Fashion Marketing, and Graphic Design degree programmes.
Through a fun and interactive presentation activity, students practised persuasive speaking techniques using vocal delivery, body language, audience engagement, and spontaneous communication. The workshop encouraged students to think creatively while strengthening their confidence and public speaking skills.
Students shared that the activity helped them better understand persuasive communication and become more confident when presenting in front of others.
The workshop reflects the university’s commitment to interactive learning experiences that strengthen students’ communication skills and confidence for future professional environments.
