Organ Attack Workshop Enhances Language Skills Through Strategic Play

The Centre for Language and Extension Service organised the “Organ Attack: Language Learning Through Strategic Play” workshop on 10 and 12 March 2026 during Communication Writing Skills and Communication Presentation Skills classes.
Through interactive gameplay, students practised explaining strategies, justifying decisions, and using clear, structured language. The activity encouraged critical thinking, logical reasoning, and adaptability in communication.
Students found the session engaging. Chew Kah Suan from the Bachelor of Graphic Design shared, “I like how competitive the activity was and I also had to learn how to explain my moves using clear and logical language.” Darius Thong from the Bachelor of Architecture and Interior Design added, “It was an engaging learning session and it was fun trying to attack each other organs.”
The workshop strengthened students’ writing, reasoning, and communication skills through experiential learning.
