Shark Tank Activity Builds Students’ Presentation Skills

On 16 July 2026, the Centre for Language and Extension Service transformed the classroom into a dynamic Shark Tank-style pitching session, where students presented original business ideas to a panel of “investors”. The activity challenged them to think on their feet, respond confidently to questions, and deliver persuasive presentations in a realistic business setting.

Through the experience, students strengthened their public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive communication skills while building the confidence to present ideas professionally. The activity reflects First City University College’s commitment to developing confident communicators who are ready to thrive in the workplace.
