Year End Recycling Campaign 2025 – Supporting Sustainability and Inclusion

First City University College successfully organised the Year End Recycling Campaign 2025 from 28 November to 13 December.

Throughout the campaign period, participants donated a wide range of recyclable and reusable items, including paper materials, plastic containers and bottles, aluminium cans, glass items, toys, clothes in good condition, and electrical appliances. All collected items were donated to Lovely Disabled Home, a non governmental organisation that supports individuals with physical and mental disabilities.

Recycling serves as one of their key income sources, with beneficiaries directly involved in sorting and managing the donated materials. This initiative not only reduced waste sent to landfills but also contributed to community empowerment through inclusive participation.
