The Springboard Challenge – National Final 2023/24, organized by EastSpring Investments, concluded on 20 January 2024 with fervent competition and insightful financial discourse. The event witnessed intense participation from students from the various institutions, including two of our students from the Faculty of Business, Hospitality & Communication, Winnie Yeap Si Hoong and Andrew Chye Wen Bin.

The competition featured two challenging rounds – the first lasting one hour and the second 45 minutes. The aggregate scores from both rounds determined the top performers among the five winners, comprising three main prizes and two consolation awards.

While our talented students, Winnie and Andrew, did not secure any prizes, their journey was far from ordinary. The experience gained from competing in the National Final of the Intervarsity Challenge is invaluable. It is a testament to their dedication and financial acumen, having risen to the top two positions in the earlier University challenge.

Participation in such an esteemed event is a commendable achievement. Despite not clinching awards, Winnie and Andrew were recognized for their efforts with certificates of attendance – a testament to their commitment and the recognition of their presence on the national stage.

The Springboard Challenge National Final 2023/24 provided a platform for growth, learning, and the cultivation of skills that extend beyond the realm of prizes.
