On 25th September 2024, the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology hosted the Bytes Buzz Live! event, streamed via Facebook Live and Zoom. The event showcased a series of insightful presentations and live demonstrations from faculty members, offering students and industry professionals a glimpse into the latest in computing and technology education.

The event kicked off with Dr. Norhayati Binti Mohd Zainee, Senior Lecturer, as the moderator. Notable speakers included Dr. Muhammad Hanafi Bin Yusop, who provided a comprehensive overview of essential skills for Industry 4.0, and Asst. Prof. Ir. Dr. Tay Ching En Marcus, who demonstrated game creation using programming techniques. These sessions highlighted the nature of technology and the critical need for continuous learning in today’s fast-paced digital world.

Throughout the session, student projects were also in the spotlight, with award-winning creations such as the Local Travel Discovery Application and the Wireless Plant Watering System drawing attention for their innovation and practical application. These demonstrations, led by Siti Azirah Binti Azhari and Mohammad Hafizuddin bin Ameruddin, underscored the hands-on approach to learning at the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology.

The event concluded with a testimony from student Foo Cheong Jun, who shared his positive experiences with the campus facilities and the support of his lecturers. The Bytes Buzz Live! 2024 event successfully highlighted the faculty’s dedication to fostering a vibrant and innovative learning environment for its students.
