On 17 December 2024, the Student Services Department organised a Christmas celebration for the children of Sweet Care Home, bringing festive cheer to the campus. Held at the Student Lounge, the event welcomed all attendees for a memorable gathering filled with holiday spirit.

Throughout the event, the children participated in a series of engaging games, including Charades and Musical Chairs. Facilitated by our students, Edmund Liew Chi Hin, from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Marketing programme and Eric Chua Ming Zhe from the Diploma in Interior Design programme, these activities encouraged teamwork and friendly competition, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere throughout.

Mr Rahula Weladavi, Head of the Student Services Department, presented awards to the winners of the games, recognising their enthusiasm, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the event. The highlight of the event was the Christmas Gift Presentation. Mr. Rahula distributed gifts to all the children, adding an element of surprise and appreciation to the event. The gifts, generously sponsored by the staff of First City University College, reflected their kindness. The joy was evident as the children eagerly received their thoughtfully chosen presents.
