EXPLORING KUALA LUMPUR THROUGH THE LENS!

The students from the Photography class embarked on an exciting field trip to Kuala Lumpur City Centre on 14th February 2025 exploring the city’s vibrant streets, capturing stunning visuals through their lenses.
The trip provided a hands-on opportunity for students to refine their photography skills in a real-world setting. From towering skyscrapers to hidden alleyways, they experimented with composition, lighting, and storytelling, immersing themselves in the essence of KL’s dynamic culture. The interplay of shadows, bustling city life, and unique architectural contrasts made for a truly enriching experience.
Raufa Majid, an international student from the Maldives, shared “Kuala Lumpur is a city full of contrasts—modern skyscrapers standing beside historic architecture, vibrant street art blending with daily life. Capturing these moments through my lens made me see the city from a whole new perspective. This field trip was not just about photography, but also about understanding how a place tells its own story through visuals.”
The experience was a memorable and insightful journey for all, reinforcing the importance of observation, creativity, and technical skills in photography.
