A DAY OF DELIGHT AT THE FACULTY OF BUSINESS, HOSPITALITY & COMMUNICATION’S POP-UP MARKET
The Faculty of Business, Hospitality & Communication (FBHC) hosted a spectacular Pop-Up Market on 25 October 2023, at the Café De One & Foyer Area on Level 3 of the North Building, leaving attendees with unforgettable memories and a taste of talent and creativity within the faculty.
This exciting event, launched by FBHC dean Associate Professor Dr Lewis Leong, was also graced by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr Hing Hiang Lian and Head of Student Services, Mr Weladavi Rahula.
The Pop-Up Market offered a delightful fusion of entertainment, artistry, and gastronomy. Students from the faculty meticulously curated a vibrant array of 13 booths, each showcasing their unique talents and passions.
For the gaming enthusiasts, there were dedicated booths for attendees to immerse themselves in thrilling gaming experiences. Those seeking a more hands-on experience explored the world of handicrafts and unique souvenirs. These booths allowed visitors to purchase one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items, perfect for gifting or as collectible items.
The foodies were in for a treat as well. The Pop-Up Market featured a wide range of food and beverage offerings, from delectable snacks to mouthwatering meals, ensuring that every palate was satisfied.
The event was a testament to the creative spirit and entrepreneurial drive of FBHC’s students. It not only provided them with an opportunity to showcase their talents but also allowed the community to engage with and support their endeavours. The Pop-Up Market was indeed a delightful experience, and we look forward to more such events in the future.
