APA-APA PON BOLEH BAZAAR BRINGS FESTIVE VIBES TO CAMPUS

Held from 10th to 14th March 2025 at the First City University College Cafeteria, the “Apa-Apa Pon Boleh Bazaar” was more than just a shopping event—it was a vibrant platform championing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Organised by students of the BA (Honours) in Fashion Marketing programme, the event promoted sustainable fashion by encouraging preloved and handmade items.

A variety of stalls offered everything from kuih raya and accessories to clothes, preloved items, and limited-time promotions. The lively atmosphere was made even more enjoyable with an open karaoke corner, where visitors sang their hearts out while browsing through trendy finds and festive treats.

“Organising this preloved fashion bazaar was an incredible journey of creativity and sustainability,” said Goh Chia Zhi. Elia Grace Ng added, “Handmaking each piece gave me a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind fashion.”

The event successfully brought together the university community, sparking conversations about conscious consumerism while supporting student-led initiatives in fashion and retail entrepreneurship.
