BUBUR LAMBUK EVENT CELEBRATES COMMUNITY AND TRADITION AT FIRST CITY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE

First City University College embraced the spirit of community with its annual Bubur Lambuk event, held at Red Canvas on 24th March 2025. This tradition brought together students, faculty, and guests dressed in traditional attire or themed colours of light brown, blue, and golden olive, creating a colourful cultural diversity.

Attendees enjoyed the heartwarming flavours of bubur lambuk, a traditional Malay porridge rich in spices and community heritage. Beyond the culinary delights, they explored Malay culture through traditional games such as teng-teng and congkak, which added to the festive atmosphere.

This event celebrated a sense of unity and cultural appreciation within the First City University College community. It provided a unique opportunity for students and staff alike to connect, share, and experience the warmth of Malay traditions.
