Building Cybersecurity Expertise at FWD Technology and Innovation Malaysia

On 18 August 2026, a lecturer from the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology visited Adzreza Syahmie Bin ‘Adzzham Syahzany during his 13-week internship at FWD Technology and Innovation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The visit provided an opportunity to review his progress and the experience he was gaining within the Group Information Security department.

His internship exposed him to enterprise-level information security through penetration testing reporting, security ticket management, system initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborative projects. Such industry exposure enables students to experience professional standards first-hand while strengthening the technical, analytical, communication and teamwork skills needed for careers in technology.
