On 12 July 2024, the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing programme organized a Fashion Photography Workshop at The Loft Studio in Shah Alam. Led by lecturer Nazima Abdullah, the workshop provided students Edmond Liew Chi Hin, Chong Way Son, and Goh Chia Zhi with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional photography setting.

The workshop covered essential elements of fashion photography, starting with the basics. Students were introduced to the ways of handling DSLR cameras, including the proper techniques for operating various camera settings. They also discovered the art of photography lighting setups, learning how to manipulate light to enhance the visual appeal of their fashion photographs. In addition to the photography sessions, the workshop also included post-editing techniques.

The Fashion Photography Workshop at The Loft Studio was a success, providing students with a solid foundation in fashion photography. The experience enriched their understanding of the field, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities in the world of fashion marketing.
