Career and Industry Networking Day 2026 Strengthens Industry Links and Graduate Readines

First City University College hosted the Career and Industry Networking Day 2026 on 1 April 2026, bringing together industry leaders, academics, and students in a dynamic platform focused on career readiness and professional growth.

Centred on the theme “The Future of Work: Adapting, Upskilling and Staying Relevant,” the event featured a Career Forum with industry leaders from Taxman, Fuyu Dezain, Gushcloud, and Sparkup Sdn Bhd, who shared insights on emerging trends, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning.

Students also engaged with industry representatives through networking sessions, exhibition booths, and project showcases, gaining valuable exposure to real-world practices and career pathways. The University–Industry Dialogue further emphasised the importance of aligning academic learning with industry expectations.

The event strengthened students’ confidence, industry awareness, and career direction, reinforcing the university’s commitment to developing future-ready graduates equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving workforce.
