Comic Storytelling Activity Strengthens English Communication Skills

From 3 to 5 August 2026, the Centre of Language & Extension Services organised a Comic Storytelling activity that encouraged students to develop original stories using randomly generated prompts. Through creating and presenting their comics, students practised vocabulary, sentence construction, dialogue writing, sequencing, and descriptive language while developing their spoken communication skills.

The creative activity also strengthened students’ confidence, critical thinking, and ability to communicate ideas effectively through words and visuals.
