Educational Trip Enhances Students’ Understanding of Sustainable Design Practices

On 19 May 2026, students from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Interior Architecture and Design programme participated in an educational trip to Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), Bangsar, organised by the Faculty of Design & Built Environment.

During the visit, students explored green building systems, sustainable planning approaches, and energy-efficient design strategies implemented within the PAM Centre. The hands-on learning experience provided valuable exposure to environmentally responsible architectural practices and contemporary sustainable design solutions.

Students shared that the trip strengthened their understanding of green building concepts and inspired them to consider more sustainable approaches in future design projects.

The educational visit reflects the university college’s commitment to experiential learning and industry-relevant education, supporting the development of environmentally conscious and industry-ready design graduates.
