ESCAPE ROOM – BRAINSTORM BREAKOUT

On 30 July 2025, students from the Faculty of Business and Communications took part in Escape Room: Brainstorm Breakout, a team-based problem-solving challenge held at Mission Q, One Utama Shopping Centre.
Participants were divided into two surprise-themed teams and tasked with solving time-sensitive puzzles in order to escape their assigned rooms. Each room presented a series of logic-based challenges that tested participants’ communication, strategic planning, and adaptability under pressure. Throughout the session, students supported each other, shared ideas, and experienced first-hand how diverse perspectives contribute to effective problem-solving.
“This was a rush. I didn’t think I’d enjoy an escape room this much, but working with my team under pressure was incredibly rewarding,” said Kingsway Lau. Adriall Avenish added, “What made this escape room different was the people. Everyone brought their own strengths, and we really learned how to work as one.” Beyond the games, the activity helped build trust, fostered stronger team dynamics, and encouraged students to apply their classroom learning to dynamic, real-world scenarios.
