FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASES STUDENT INNOVATION AND ROBOTICS TO VISITING PRINCIPALS FROM SARAWAK

On 11 October 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology welcomed principals from Sarawak for an interactive visit showcasing student-led projects in robotics and coding. Organised by the Student Recruitment Department, the visit offered guests an engaging insight into the faculty’s innovative teaching methods and experiential learning approach.

The event began with an impressive robot welcome performance by the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology team, followed by a tour of the Future Tech Lab where students’ innovation projects were showcased. The principals also observed robot coding and programming using block coding, gaining firsthand understanding of how theoretical knowledge is applied in practical, real-world scenarios.

The presentations emphasised the faculty’s commitment to experiential learning and highlighted the creativity and problem-solving skills developed through its programmes. The visit also strengthened relationships with schools in Sarawak and showcased potential avenues for future collaboration in technology and computer science education.
