Final Year Project Presentation with Industry Panels Strengthens Student Industry Readiness

First City University College hosted a Final Year Project (Part 1) presentation on 17 April 2026, featuring students and industry advisory panels in a collaborative academic-industry session.

Students presented innovative projects, including a face-following robotic vehicle and an Industrial IoT predictive maintenance system. The session included participation from students of the Bachelor of Electronic Engineering with Honours, with industry experts providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with current practices and real-world applications.

Reflecting on the experience, a student shared that the feedback from both academic and industry panels was highly valuable in refining the project, particularly in improving data analysis, system performance, and practical relevance.

The session strengthened students’ technical capabilities and industry awareness, supporting their development as competent and industry-ready graduates.
