It’s more than a station, but a people’s station. ‘THE NODE’ aims to recreate a whole new phase of journey experience as a communal community space. The existing bus terminal was repurposed and introduced with green zone, art gallery, double volume reading platform and play zone, while the designs also make good of existing ticketing and queueing systems. Overall designs were inspired by local identities included material finishes, traditional motifs and passive design strategies. This projects also aims to promote the awareness of using public transportation and environmental effectiveness.

Bio

‘Fake Pisces’ is how I can describe myself, a completely rational but somehow a little bit sentimental artist-cum-psycho. A warm greeting from Malaysia, I hope myself can at least be the last man standing representing this country and showing the world the designs that I hope to evolve people’s lives. I always think of putting people first and I did conveyed in my project too. A place that I always pursue is we can imagine how people live, play, work together without clear boundaries, and, connecting different people and places under one roof.
