First City University College celebrated a momentous graduation ceremony, honouring 266 students from various programmes. Held at One World Hotel, the event was marked by a grand procession of graduates in academic array to celebrate their accomplishments

The event was graced by YgBhg Tan Sri Dato’ IR (Dr) Teo Chiang Kok, Chairman of the Board of Governors; YgBhg Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Teo Chiang Liang, Director and Member of the Board of Governors; Datuk Yaacob Bin Wan Ibrahim, Chancellor of First City University College; Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh, Vice-Chancellor of First City University College; Dr Hing Hiang Lian, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of First City University College; Members of the Board of Governors; and staff of First City University College.

In her address, Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh, Vice-Chancellor of First City University College, remarked, “Your education has equipped and prepared you for a lifetime of accomplishments. The knowledge and skills you possess are powerful, and with them, you will continue to bring honour to our institution and make a positive impact wherever your journey leads you.”

This year marks First City University College’s inaugural Industry Excellence Awards. These awards celebrate bachelor’s degree graduates who have demonstrated outstanding performance in overall aspects. These awards are sponsored by Zchwantech Sdn Bhd and E-secretary Sdn Bhd.

Jacqielynn Saw Sze Wye, a BCS (Intelligent Systems) (Honours) graduate received both the Excellence Awards – Distinction and the Industry Excellence Awards.

International student Gong Hong Shen, who graduated in Bachelor of Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) (Honours), expressed gratitude to the professors, staff, and classmates for their support. Hong Sheng’s family member remarked, “I am delighted to attend my younger brother’s graduation. Congratulations to First City University College for nurturing remarkable talents.”
