First City University College Partners with Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia to Enhance Student Opportunities

First City University College formalised a collaboration with the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on 17 April 2026. The partnership brings together academic and industry expertise to strengthen learning outcomes and career pathways for students, particularly in the field of accounting and taxation.

The collaboration provides key benefits, including recognised subject exemptions for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting and Finance, as well as opportunities for internships, professional development programmes, and industry engagement through talks and workshops. Students will also gain exposure to professional certification pathways and real-world industry practices.

In addition, the partnership supports joint research, knowledge exchange, and continuous academic alignment with industry standards, ensuring programmes remain relevant and responsive to evolving professional demands.
